Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 August 2026

Nolvra ("we") builds audio plugins and music software. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what we never collect. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to sell you a license and run your account, and your audio never leaves your machine.

What we collect

Account & licensing. Your email address, license keys, product entitlements, and activation records. Stored in our database (Supabase, EU region: Frankfurt) and used to deliver licenses, run the Nolvra Hub, and provide support.

Payments. Payments are processed by our payment providers (Shopify Payments, Stripe, PayTR). We never see or store your card details; we receive only order metadata (product, amount, order id, billing country) needed for license delivery and accounting.

Emails. Transactional emails (license delivery, receipts, account messages) are sent through Resend. If you join a waitlist or newsletter, we store that email until you unsubscribe; every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link.

Support. If you email support, we keep the correspondence to resolve your issue.

The support assistant

Our help site offers an AI assistant that answers questions from our own support articles.

  • Your messages reach an AI provider. To write a reply, the conversation is sent to our AI service provider. We do not use your content to train models.
  • Conversations are not stored. The assistant keeps no record: your messages are used to produce the reply and are written nowhere on our servers, and message content is never logged.
  • Asking for a human is what saves the conversation. If you ask to speak to a person and give us your email, the transcript is written to a support ticket and sent to us so that we can answer you. That is the only path that keeps a copy.
  • Usage limits. To apply fair-use limits we store a one-way hash derived from your IP address. The address itself is neither stored nor logged, and the hash is not used to identify you.

What we don't do

No ads, no selling of personal data, no third-party tracking pixels. Our website uses only the analytics strictly necessary to operate (aggregate, non-identifying).

Legal basis & retention

We process account and order data to perform our contract with you, and keep it as long as your account exists or as tax/accounting law requires. Waitlist/newsletter data is processed on consent and deleted on unsubscribe.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and the Turkish KVKK), you may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your personal data, and you may object to or restrict processing. Write to support@nolvra.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Changes

We will post any changes here with an updated date. Material changes affecting your rights will be announced by email.
